2012 WEEK 12:  Washington Redskins (4-6)

Happy Thanksgiving !

The Dallas Cowboys - Washington Redskins rivalry has lacked luster in years past but not so much now ! The ‘Skins come to “Jerry World” with the future of their franchise Robert Griffin III in the same desperate state the Cowboys are in. Will Tony Romo stay undefeated on Turkey Day or will RGIII and the Redskins bring the stuffing ? Thanks for listening !

“I Forgot They Played There!”
Terry Crews
Before he was “Triple OG Damon” in “Next Friday” and  “Cheeseburger Eddie” in the remake of the “Longest Yard” playing jail football, Terry Crews (#90) actually had a career playing in the National Football League as a linebacker/defensive end. The “Everybody Loves Chris” star had brief stints with the Los Angeles Rams, San Diego Chargers, Washington Redskins, and Philadelphia Eagles.

Who Should Really Be On “Hard Knocks” ???

It seems that HBO may have found their team by offering the Atlanta Falcons a chance to be on their sports documentary series “Hard Knocks”. Why they would offer the Falcons I don’t know, this team has not been interesting since the Michael Vick dog fighting incident back in 2007. Granted they have won their fair share of games but nothing too mind blowing. The only eye catching headline this off season in the ATL has been Micheal “Burner” Turner’s baby mamma drama. Here are a few teams I think HBO should go hard at to make sure they have an interesting series and high ratings !

1.New Orleans Saints: BountyGate has been all the talk this offseason after it was found out the Saints were putting “hits” out on players and getting paid for injuring opponents. Seeing how the Saints bounce back from this would be great especially with the suspension of Sean Payton, the possibility of other players being suspended, and Drew Brees possibly not returning to training camp on time due to contract issues.

2. Denver Broncos: Tebowmania has officially became a thing of the past after the team signed future hall of famer Peyton Manning this off season. We are all anxious to find out if he still has anything left in the tank and is he fully recovered from his neck injury.

3. New York Jets: With all the explosive personalities in that locker room led by Rex Ryan and the addition of Tim Tebow this is the definition of “must see TV”.

4. Indianapolis Colts/Washington Redskins: Both these teams will be drafting the cornerstone of their franchises for years to come in this years draft. If things go as everyone thinks The Colts will be trying to adjust with Andrew Luck post Peyton Manning and the Redskins with be bringing in the Robert Griffin III era in DC. It should be exciting to see each team rebuild.

5. Dallas Cowboys:The reason for the ‘Boys is because they may be the most polarizing team in the NFL. People either love them and want to see them win or hate them and want to see them lose which makes them great for ratings. Already being “Hard Knocks” vets (2002,2008) this would be nothing new for them. Rob Ryan would be TV gold !

2011 WEEK 11: @ Washington Redskins (3-6)

Did anything go wrong for the Dallas Cowboys as they dominated the Buffalo Bills 44-7 ? Your Cowboys needed to start off the second part of the season with a strong win and they did that ! This week they battle division rival the Washington Redskins who have fallen to the cellar since the last time they played in late September. The schedule is in great favor for the Cowboys so they must put the pedal to the medal. FLIPPIN’ OUT STARTS NOW !!!

2011 WEEK 3: WASHINGTON REDSKINS

Your Dallas Cowboys pull out a win in the Bay Area in gut check fashion as Tony Romo cracked rib in all led the team to an overtime victory. With the Cowboys looking like a M*A*S*H unit this week they limp into Cowboys Stadium for their home opener against arch rivals the Washington Redskins. The big question is “will Romo be able to go on Monday Night Football ?” Word out of Valley Ranch is that Romo’s punctured lung is healed…is it really ? THIS IS FLIPPIN’ OUT !!!
